Kalkomey Enterprises, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Because Kalkomey gathers information from users of Event Manager, we believe you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the use of the information we collect. 1. Information we collect

We will request certain personal information, including your name, birth date, address, e-mail address and any other personal identification information that may be required by the state (such as gender, eye color, hair color, etc.). This information is required by the state agencies responsible for administering programs and events. In addition, if the state agency requires a fee for event registration, you will be asked to supply a valid credit card number, expiration date, and name.

2. What Kalkomey does with the information we collect

The personal information you supply to Kalkomey will not be disclosed outside of Kalkomey, except to securely transfer the personal data to the state agency responsible for programs and events. Your credit card information will be used only for processing any fee(s) related to event registrations.

Kalkomey will not use the personal information we collect for any other purpose other than to assist state agencies with administering their programs and events.

3. With whom information is shared

We do not share, sell or otherwise distribute information about individual users of Event Manager with any third party, or any outside companies or organizations except the state agency which is responsible for your program(s) and event(s).

4. Security

All of your personal and credit card information is collected using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) which allows your information to be securely transferred using Verisign Secure Server Digital ID. Kalkomey has been approved by VeriSign to protect your credit card and other confidential information with industry-leading SSL encryption. The VeriSign Secured Seal is a trust mark available for display on any website that protects its customers' confidential information using VeriSign services. After collection, your information is then stored on our servers at a location designed specifically to ensure that no unauthorized individuals have access to the server or its data.

5. Children and privacy

Kalkomey encourages parents and guardians to spend time with their children online, and to be familiar with the sites their children visit. Kalkomey fully complies with the Federal Trade Commission's COPPA Act (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), and follows state guidelines for compliance in each online program we offer.

Parental access: Parents of students of any age may contact our Privacy Coordinator at the mailing address provided below if you would like to do any of the following:

  • Access personally identifiable information that Kalkomey has collected online from your child,
  • Correct factual errors in such information,
  • Request to have this information deleted, or
  • Request that we no longer collect or maintain such information.
